How long is my design kept?

We keep your design set up for 10 months after every production. Re-order the same design within that window and you don’t re-pay the setup fee.

Grip Roughness

Griptape grit is determined by the size of the small crystals glued in place on top of the carrier. You can adjust this roughness and board grip by choosing how big or small the crystals are (60 roughest – 90 smoothest).

Grit options

60–90

• 60 — bigger and rougher crystals
• 670 — combine 60 and 70 crystals
• 70 — mid range roughness
• 780 — common pro grip (70 + 80)
• 80 — mid range roughness
• 890 — combine 80 and 90 crystals
• 90 — smaller / smoother

Glue

Stick & hold

Glue holds the crystals in place and makes sure it sticks secure onto your deck.

• S glue — cheapest (mostly for children’s grip)
• OS normal glue — standard oil glue (high quality)
• HS double layer glue — best quality professional grade

Carriers

Carriers are the sheets the stones are glued onto. Carriers can be perforated — small holes in the sheet that prevent air bubbles when applying.

Evenly distributed grip is easy to cut with a knife so it won’t slip or give jagged edges.

Printing

• Screen print directly onto the grip — each color needs a screen
• UV printing for covering the entire grip with a design
• CMYK for colorful detailed designs — printed onto the carrier, then covered by transparent crystals that lay over the design

Screen Printing

Screen print directly onto the grip itself. Each color needs its own screen — ideal for logos, brand marks and solid-color graphics that need sharp edges.

Colors

Standard full print colors like red, yellow, blue and green are usually on stock. Send us a message for a bulk color order.
